He will make a way!!!

Behold, I do a new thing….I will make rivers in the desert and highways in the wilderness
1. God is always doing a new thing
– He parted the sea for the Israelites to walk through on dry land – That had never happened before
– He gave the Israelites manna and quails as well as water in the wilderness – That was also unprecedented
– Jesus was conceived by the Holy Ghost referred to in theology as the immaculate conception..- It had never happened before and will not happen again
– The Apostle Paul who hated christians and had many of them killed. Was converted by God and he did exploits- Never happened before
2.In these modern times too God does new things
– He guided scientists to get a cure for COVID- 19 and saved humans from complete destruction
– There are so many home appliances, medical technology and inventions that make life much easier for humans
3. In spite of all these things, God still has miracles and new things in store for us
– He will do much more than we can imagine
a) Psalm 23:6
b) Ephesians 3:20
– He will turn failure into success
a) Jeremiah 29:11
b)Romans 8:28
– The best is yet to come
a) Haggai 2:9
b) Revelations 22: 1-3
He will do much more than we can imagine
Psalm 23:6
Surely, goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever
Ephesians 3:20
Now unto Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we can ever ask or think of…..
– The first verse quoted above says goodness and mercy will follow us all the days if our lives
– What is it like to have God’s kindness and compassion abound in your life ( Goodness and mercy following you)?
– You fall several times but you rise again and continue to do exploits
a)Like Stevie Wonder, he is blind from birth but plays the keyboard and organ better than those who can see.
– His music has won several awards
b) Like Joni Erickson , who is completely paralysed from the neck down who is a motivational speaker
– People who have complete use of all their limbs throw pity parties always
– Or are not satisfied with what they have
Why?
– God has given the two individuals mentioned above enough courage , wisdom and skill to excel in water they do
– That is God doing much more than we can ever ask or think of as stated in second verse quoted
– God has done new things in their lives and made a way where there was no way
He will turn failure into success
Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the thoughts that I think towards you saith the Lord. Thoughts of peace and not of evil. To give you a future and a hope
Romans 8:28
….all things work together for the good of them that love God who are called according to His purpose
– In short, what the two verses immediately above are trying to say is that
– God has a good plan for each of us, but along the journey of life we can make wrong choices that might lead to failure
– But if we keep trusting God, He steps in and turns things around and makes a way where there is no way
The best is yet to come
Haggai 2:9
For the glory of the latter house shall be greater than that of the former house ( Paraphrased)
Revelations 22:1-3
And I saw a new heaven and a new earth…..
– The message in the two verses above is
– The glory or blessings of the people of today ( latter house) shall be greater than that of the patriarchs and people in the bible ( former house)
Why
– We might see the second coming of Jesus
– The new heaven and the new earth
– Where there will be no pain or sorrow
– But joy as we dwell together with our heavenly Father
