This is the third edition for 2026
My name is Aunty Evangeline
At the beginning of the year, I said this year I will present messages on the types of evangelism
I started with the one-on-one method of evangelism, the story of Jesus and woman at the well
Then I moved on to crusades, the story of Jesus feeding the five thousand
Today my message is on ” Ministering in pairs” based on the story of Peter and John healing the lame man at a gate called The beautiful gate
The story can be found in Acts 3:1-10
The key verse is Acts 3:6 it says
Silver and gold have I none but such as I have give I thee, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.
– Ministering in pairs is a very power method of presenting the salvation message.
– you have a partner who can help with bible verses and modern day examples. It is a recommended method for those who feel shy or afraid of using the one- on- one method
– The story in Acts 3:1-10 says
a) Peter and John were going to pray in the temple
b) When they got to the beautiful gate, a lame man asked them for alms
c) Peter and John presented Jesus as the great physician
d) We cannot give you money but we will give something even better than money
d) Jesus Christ, the great physician who can heal you and give you a better life
– In the same way when you go out to present the salvation message with your partner
– Start with a chat, the person may open up to you and talk to you about challenges
– Present Jesus as the Lord of all flesh, the creator who can solve any challenge if you surrender your life to Him
– The idea behind presenting the various types of evangelism is to give the youth the opportunity to choose what they are comfortable with
– So that they can become
a) Our hope for tomorrow
b) Our leaders of tomorrow
c) And ambassador s for Christ
