I will make rivers in the desert!!!

Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth: shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert
In essence, Isaiah 43:19 is a message of hope and encouragement, reminding people that God is always working
– Even in the midst of difficulties
– And that new possibilities are always within reach
It is also a promise of fruitfulness and fertility. A desert is bare with hardly any life. God says He will put rivers in the desert
– A desert represents a dry and unfertile land
– A desert also represents an infertile and fruitless life
How can we be part of the new thing God is doing?
1. We must hunger and thirst for righteousness
Matthew 5: 6
Blessed are they who hunger and thirst after righteousness for they shall be filled
– Those will desire above all else to obey the commands of the Lord
– Will be filled with good things. Which includes being made fertile and fruitful or having prosperity and good success as Joshua 1:8 says
2. We must walk by faith
– 2 Corinthians 5:7
For we walk by faith and not by sight
– Do not be discouraged by your circumstances
– You may have been praying for a breakthrough for several years with no sign of success
– Do not give, believe without any doubt that your breakthrough will come soon
– You will be filled with good things from God.
Conclusion
The Lord says He is doing a new thing in our lives. Let’s wait with expectation and a heart full of Thanksgiving.
