Daily Word

Above only
Deuteronomy 28:13
And the Lord shall make thee the head, and not the tail, and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath: if that thou hearkens unto the commandments.
This verse talks about the benefits we can gain from obedience to the commandments of the Lord. We shall be above only and not beneath. This I believe implies that we shall be successful in all we do. We will pass our exams, excel in our career, have good health and possess the material things we need to be comfortable in life.
2 Corinthians 2:14 says
Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of His knowledge by us in every place.
Being above only also means God would cause us to triumph (be victorious) in whatever we do. Pray that God would cause you to be victorious in all your endeavours.
God be with you.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Set some time apart for studying the word of God. It could be daily or weekly.
2. Study the word of God thoroughly. Then you will know what to do and what not to do.
3. Pray that God will help obey His word fully and completely
4. Also, ask the Lord to make you successful in all your endeavours.
