Salvation leads to eternal life
John 3:16
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
Why must you be saved or born again? It is important to be saved because among several other benefits you gain, eternal life as the verse above says.
You get hope for the future that when life ends here on earth, all is not over, we will spend eternity with God in heaven where we live happily forever.
As you reflect on events in the past week at school, work and church, how can you do better in the coming week with this knowledge that you have eternal life when you are saved?
Matthew 5:10 says
Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
You need to be righteous or live a life that is pleasing in the sight of God, then heaven can be your home.
With this in mind as you plan for the coming week , seek to excel in school by being on time for each class, paying attention at all classes or lectures and doing all your assignment promptly and correctly. In addition to this, be ready to assist those who do not understand certain aspects of your course
At work, arrive at work early each day, work hard, do not be lazy and try to assist others complete their assignment to improve the overall performance of your company
At church, work tirelessly at winning souls and be ready to do anything to promote the gospel.
God be with you
