Who has the final say?
Psalm 46:10
Be still and know that I am God
I will be exalted among the heathen
I will be exalted in the earth

The question “Who has the finale say?” Is meant to indicate God’s awesome power.

There is a hymn that says

God moves in a mysterious way
His wonders to perform
He plants His footsteps
in the sea
And rides upon the storm

Meaning, God uses good as well as bad events to accomplish His mission. Sometimes as humans, we may think the story is over, the person has failed miserably. There is no way he can correct things

But to God this is just Part 1 of the person’s life. There will be a comeback and restoration in Part 3. God has the final say

Scripture says in Joel 2: 25-26

And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you

Look at the twists and turns in Joseph’s life
He started life as his father’s favorite

In Part 2 of his life he was sold into slavery and eventually put in prison

But in Part 3, he became a ruler in Egypt, a foreigner, slave and prisoner. Only God can turn things around like that ( Genesis 37-50)

The Apostle Paul started life as a learned man, a Pharisee trained by the best, Gamaliel

In Part 2 of his life he persecuted and killed christians

But in Part 3 of his life , he had an encounter with God that changed everything

Part 3 of his life he wrote most of the books of the new testament, and did exploits for God ( Acts 9:1-22, and other chapters of Acts)

Matthew 19:26

…….with man it is impossible but with God all things are possible ( paraphrased)

This verse from the new testament reaffirms the fact that God has the finale say.

After all experts have tried and cannot resolve the problem. God steps in and makes the impossible, possible
God be with you
