What shall I render to my God?
Psalm 116:12
What shall I render to the Lord for all His benefits towards me? I will take the cup of salvation, And call upon the name of the Lord

“What shall I render to my God? ” Presupposes that God has done so much for you and me. What can we do to show our appreciation?

The Psalmist in the verse above says He will take the cup of salvation which in this context means surrender his life to God by accepting the gift of salvation. What will you do?

Accepting the gift of salvation and praising and thanking God is one of the best ways to show our appreciation to God.

Psalm 34:1 says

I will bless the Lord at all times , His praise shall continually be in my mouth

The Psalmist says , he will never cease to bless and praise God. This should be the attitude of all christians. Praise God throughout each day by singing songs of praise and thanksgiving. We can praise and thank God, by singing out when we are in a convenient place and quietly in our hearts when it can disturb others

Matthew 5:16

Let your light so shine before men that they shall see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven

This verse from the new testament gives us another way of showing our appreciation to God. By doing good works like giving to the poor and needy, helping those in trouble etc to glorify God. And living a life that is pleasing to God like the Bible says

Accept the gift of salvation today ( Romans 10:9-10) and join the heavenly beings and christians on earth praise God constantly.
