Psalm 116:1
I Love the Lord, because He hath heard my voice and my supplications
The bible constantly assures us of God’s love for us. It gives us several ways God shows and confirms His love for us.
How do we show and confirm our love for God? In the verse above, the Psalmist declares his love for God because He responded to his cry and plea for help.
In Matthew 22:37-39
We are directed to love the Lord with all our heart, all our mind and all our soul. We are also to love our neighbor as ourselves.
In John 15:10 , Jesus says if we keep or obey His commands , we demonstrate our love for Him
John 13:35
By this shall all men know, you are my disciples, if ye love one to another
This verse from the new testament says when we love one another we prove that we are His disciples or His own.
