We are heirs of the Father
Isaiah 43:1
But now thus saith the Lord that created thee, O Jacob, and He that formed thee, Oh Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called you by name you are mine

You are an heir if you are next in line to take the throne in a monarchy or take charge of a family inheritance.

The Lord created and formed each of us, as the verse above says, we all His children and therefore co- heirs or joint heirs with Christ.

If we are heirs then we qualify to spend eternity with God in the kingdom of heaven.

Revelations 21:4 says in that kingdom:
…..there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away.

Romans 8:17
And if children, then heirs; of God, and joint- heirs with Christ, if so be that we suffer with Him, that we may be also glorified together

In the verse above, we are assured as children of God who have accepted the gift of salvation that if we suffer with Christ ( dedicate our lives to serving God in spite of the challenges) then we shall be glorified with Christ.
