To err is human
Psalm 51:5
Behold I was shapen in iniquity, and in sin did my mother conceive me.

I believe one of the major reasons God wants us to forgive is because we were all born with sin. By nature it is very easy for man to do the wrong thing or disobey God. To err is human because every human being has the desire to do evil.

Romans 3:23
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.

We were all born with sin, we are all guilty and need the saving grace of God. This does not mean that we should continue to sin and frustrate the grace of God upon our lives (Romans 6:1-2). After we are saved, the bible says we are a new creation( 2 Corinthians 5:17). We should pray for grace to stay away from sin.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. There is a proverb that says:
To err is human and to forgive is divine.
Just as it is easy for you to sin or err, your brother or sister has the same nature. We will keep stepping on each others toes as we relate to each other. Let’s learn to forgive and keep working together to bring more souls to the kingdom of God.

Prayer
Loving Father, thank you for the gift of a new day. Help me to forgive those who hurt me, bearing in mind that to err is human but to forgive is divine. Amen.
