The Lord is our refuge!!
Psalm 46:1
The Lord is our refuge and strength, a very present help in the time of trouble

” The Lord is our refuge” means God is our shelter and protection from the storms of life.

In the verse above the Psalmist confirms this truth. He says the Lord is our shelter and protection ( Refuge). He is always beside us during difficult times

Scripture also says in Psalm 46:10 that

Be still, and know that I am God, I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth

Meaning, God has the power and ability to provide whatever strength and support we need, therefore we need not fret nor worry.

Matthew 19:26

……with men ( humans) it is impossible, but with God all things are possible

This verse from the new testament reaffirms the fact that God has the power and ability to deliver us from all challenging situations

John 14:1 says

Let not your heart be troubled believe in God and believe also in me

Accept the gift of salvation today ( Romans 10:9-10) and have God as your strength and Protection (refuge)

God be with you

How can I apply the word to my life?

1. Pray for grace and strength to obey God’s commands always.
