Take up your cross!!!
Exodus 33:15
If your presence does not go with us, do not lead us up from here

” Take up thy cross” is a call to self- denial and absolute surrender to the Lord. It signifies the willingness of a believer to put aside their own desires, ambitions and ego.

The verse above says if the presence of the Lord does not go with us we cannot surrender our lives to Him

Scripture also says in Philippians 1:21 that
For me to live is Christ and to die is gain

This signifies total surrender to God or taking up the cross

Matthew 16:24
If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me

This verse from the new testament reaffirms the fact that we need to surrender our lives to Christ

Accept the gift of salvation today ( Romans 10:9-10) and live constantly in the Lord’s presence
