Surrender all
Psalm 37:7
Rest in the Lord, wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who propereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.

Sometimes when we see those around us prospering we feel discouraged. Perhaps you grew up in the same neighbourhood and attended the same schools. There is no need to fret or worry, God has an excellent plan for each individual. We have to wait patiently for the Lord’s timing.

Galatians 2:20
I am crucified with Christ; nevertheless I live, yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith of the son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for us.

We also have to surrender all, our will, our hopes, our plans, our dreams and our needs to God, and allow Him to move on our behalf to perfect everything that concerns us.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Say a prayer before you attempt to do anything asking for the Lord’s help and guidance. It does not matter where you are. You can pray silently without speaking out loud.
2. When things do not turnout as you expected, ask God to show you what to do.
3. Your greatest desire should be to please God and not yourself or other people.

Dear Lord, I bless your holy name. Help me to surrender all to you.
