Soar like an eagle
Isaiah 40:31
They that wait on the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings as the eagle. They shall run and not grow weary, they shall walk, and not faint.(paraphrased)
To soar is to fly high or to increase. To soar like an eagle can also be used to describe someone who excels in all his/her endeavors.
According to the verse above to be able to excel or soar like the eagle you have to wait on the Lord
To wait on the Lord involves praying intensely (fasting if possible) and trusting the Lord to provide all you need to excel. It also requires that you study the bible and follow direction from the word in all you do.
Jeremiah 33:3 says
Call on me, and I will answer and show thee great and hidden things you do not know.
Learn to call on the Lord frequently and He will renew your strengthen, give you all you need to overcome the obstacles you face.
Philippians 4:13
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me
This verse from the new testament implies that when you wait on the Lord, He strengthens you and gives you the ability to do all things.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Make time each day to pray and study the word. Especially in the morning when you wake up and in the evening before you go to sleep.
2. Find time also to fast , pray and study the word.
