Show us the way Lord
Proverbs 3:3-4
Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God.

If we are going to be able to fulfill God’s plan for our lives then as the passage above says, we must be merciful (have compassion for the afflicted that will move you to help them) and truthful (seek or aim at being honest at all times even if it is not convenient).

Mark 13:10 (please read the whole chapter, that is Mark 13)
And the gospel must first be published among all nations.

Mark 13 talks about the events that must occur before and after the second coming of Jesus and what we must do to prepare for it. Read it carefully. One important thing that must happen before His coming is that the gospel must reach all nations. Every Christian or child of God has a part to play to make this possible. If everyone presents the gospel to those in his/her neighbourhood,school and workplace, the work can be done.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Do not look on unconcerned when you see people who are poor and afflicted. Help them. You can give your money, your clothes,your time and whatever is necessary to ease their suffering.
2. When you find yourself in a situation where telling the truth would harm you but help others. Ensure that you speak the truth.
3. Presenting the gospel must be an important item on your agenda.each day.

Prayer
Merciful and true God, thank you for remaining merciful and true to your children. Help me fulfill your plan for my life. Amen.
