Prepare for soul winning
Proverbs 16:3
Commit thy works unto to the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established

There is a saying that:
If you fail to plan or prepare for the future, you are planning to fail.

The last words of our Lord Jesus Christ before leaving the earth, can be found in Matthew 28:19-20. It says
Go therefore and teach all nations, baptizing…..
This is a call to all nations to go out and win souls.

How can we fulfill this command? We can teach others only after we ourselves have studied the bible well as 2 Timothy 2:15 says.

After we have studied the word then we can make plans on how to win souls. Are you going to do street evangelism, one-on-one witnessing, use social media, witness in public transport, song ministration, drama or crusades to win souls?

After deciding on which method to use, pray and commit your plans into God’s hands as the verse from Proverbs says, and God will establish your thoughts or help you bring it to pass.

2 Timothy 2:15
Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that need not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth

The the role of the verse above in preparing for soul winning has already been explained. A thorough study of the word is very important, because , that is the main soul winning material we have to use.

Your personal testimony or testimonies of other Christians is not enough. It is the only the word of God that is sharper than any two-edged sword and can pierce into the soul and spirit, and joints and marrow… (Hebrews 4:12)

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Study the bible thoroughly.
2.Plan your soul winning activities
3. Pray for God to establish it and step out in faith.

Lord, please use me to spread your word and win souls for the kingdom of God
