Onward Christian Soldiers!!!
Proverbs 21:31
The horse prepares for battle but safety is of the Lord ( paraphrased)

” Onward Christian soldiers” is a command to Christians to move forward or continue to fulfill their ministry here on earth.

How do we do this? According to the verse above we must first prepare to fulfill our ministry of reaching out to souls. This can de done through prayer and study of the word

Then we ask for grace and strength to fulfill our ministry

2 Timothy 4:2 says
Preach the word. Be instant in season
and out of season

Meaning preaching the word should be on our agenda for each day, No matter how tight our schedule is

Just chipping in a word or two while you work or as you take lunch would be very useful

2 Timothy 2:3
Endure hardship as a good soldier of christ

This verse from the new testament encourages Christians to move on with the vision of sharing the salvation message no matter how difficult it is to combine our ministry with school or work

Accept the gift of salvation today, ( Romans 10:9-10) and learn to serve the Lord faithfully as a good soldier of Christ
