Nothing without you
Jeremiah 10:23
O Lord, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.

According to the verse above, our steps are ordered or directed by God. There is nothing we can do without Him. He plans and directs everything. Even when the devil tries to destroy what He has created and planned, He has a way of getting everything back on course.

John 15:5
I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

The relationship between God and His children is compared to that of a vine and its branches. It is the vine that provides the branches food and nutrients to bear fruit. God is the source of all we need. We are nothing without Him.

Acts 17:28
For in Him we live and move and have our being…….

Everything we do is orchestrated (planned and implemented ) by God. We live and move and have our being in Him. Let’s trust and rely on Him at all times.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. If God is the source of our needs and He plans and directs everything in the universe, we must surrender our lives to Him. We must be saved or accept the gift of salvation. (Romans 10:9-10)
2. We must study His word and learn to obey His commands.

Prayer
Dear God, thank you for blessing me in diverse ways and making a way where there is no way. Help me trust and rely on you for all things.
