My hiding place
Psalm 32:7
Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance

Considering the upsurge in violence and crime in the world today, it is comforting and re- assuring to have a safe hiding place. A hiding place that will protect you not only from physical attacks but emotional and spiritual attacks as well.

The Psalmist in the verse above says, God is his hiding place where he is preserved from trouble (saved from trouble) and surrounded with songs of deliverance (assured of deliverance).

God can be your hiding place too if you will surrender your life to Him by accepting the gift of salvation, living to glorify His name and trusting Him at all times.

Romans 8:31-32
What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?

When you get saved, you are on the Lord’s side and no one can be against you or no plan to destroy your life will be successful because you are on the Lord’s side.
God be with you

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Make sure you are born again or accept the gift of salvation. (Romans 10:9-10)
2. Live to please God by studying the bible and doing what it says.

Prayer
Let this song be your prayer

You are my hiding place, Oh Lord
The place where I can be myself
The place where I can live your way
And glorify your name

Hide me in the shadow of your wings
Preserve me from trouble
Surround me with songs of deliverance
And give me your peace.
