Make me a faithful witness
Proverbs 12:17
The faithful witness tells what is right, but a false witness speaks deceit.

To become a faithful witness (someone who testifies) about Christ, you have to study, know and apply the word of God to your life. Then you can tell others about the mercy and love of God and how He planned and implemented the gift of salvation for people of all nations. To reconcile man to God and give him/her eternal life.

Revelation 2:13
I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where satan’s seat is: and thou holdest fast my name: and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where satan dwellest.

A faithful witness of Christ should be able to talk about Christ no matter where he/she is. In times of war and famine, in times of sickness, in times when your life is in great danger etc. It is important that we present the message of salvation with urgency wherever we are because the time for the second coming of Christ is nearer than when we first believed.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Make Christ the centre of your life. Everything you do must start and end with Christ.
2. Present the message of salvation wherever you find yourself.

Dear God, receive all the praise, honor and adoration you deserve. Make me a faithful witness of Christ.
