God has done so much for us. He made a great sacrifice to save us from sin and hell and to give us eternal life with Him in heaven.

God deserves all our praise always. In the verse above, the Psalmist says he would love to spend all his days in God’s presence serving and worshiping Him.

What would you do for God in return for His great love? Like the Psalmist, I believe also we need to spend all our days in God’s presence serving and worshiping Him.

Psalm 96:1 says
Sing unto the Lord a new song. Sing to the Lord all the earth…..

1 John 5:1-5
If you love me, obey my commands, and my commandments are not burdensome…

This verse from the new testament says if you love God then you must obey His commands. His commands are found in the bible.

Putting together the directions from the old testament and the new testament, the things you can give God in return for His love include:
– Dedicating your life to serve Him
– Praising and worshipping Him always
– Obeying His commands
God be with you

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Study the word in order to know how to serve God, worship Him and know His commands you have to obey.
