Lift His Name HIGHER!!
Psalm 46:10
Be still and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth

We lift up the name of the Lord when we:
– Testify of His goodness
– Share testimonies of the miracles He has done in the bible and in our lives
– Are good to other people because God has blessed us abundantly.

The verse above says, be still ( stop worrying and fretting, stop being anxious) because the Lord our God is a great God. He is exalted among the heathen and in the earth.

Scripture says in Exodus 15:11 that

Who is like unto thee
Oh Lord,?
Among the gods
Who is like thee?
You are glorious in holiness
Fearful in praising
Doing wonders, hallelujah.

Christians ought to let the whole world know about the Lord’s goodness and greatness.

Matthew 28:18
And Jesus came and spake unto then saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in the earth

This verse from the new testament confirms that the Lord is not only good but He is great as well. All power in heaven and earth has been given unto Him.

We are more than blessed to be among the redeemed of the Lord, so let’s lift His Name HIGHER!!!

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Cultivate the habit of praising and thanking God always.
2. Be ready and willing at all times to testify of His goodness.
