Lift Him up!
Psalm 77:14
Thou art the God that doest wonders: thou hast declared thy strength among the people.

“To lift Him up” or to lift God up is to make His name known to all men that He is God Almighty, the one and only true living God. How can we do this?

The answer can be found in Matthew 5:15-16

Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house
Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

According to the passage above we can lift God up by:
-Raising Him high for everyone to see like we use a candle in darkness
– This can be done through doing good works for all men to see that they can glorify God

In the verse above the Psalmist shows us another way of lifting God- up -by declaring His good works to all men.

Philippians 2:9
Wherefore God also hath highly exalted Him, and given Him a name which is above every name.

This verse from the new testament clearly states that Jesus has been given the name that is above all other names.

Let us make this fact known to all as well to lift Him up
God be with you

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Learn to:
– Praise and worship God at all times
– Testify of the Lord’s goodness
– Be good to all men

Meditate on the words of this song

Lift Him up
His name be lifter higher
Lift Him up
His name be lifted higher
Exalt His Holy Name
