Let serving God be your utmost desire
Psalm 27:4
One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord and to inquire in His temple.

Your utmost desire is the issue of greatest importance to you. It takes most of your time, energy and resources.

Dedicating your life to serving God or engaging in activities that will win more souls for the kingdom of God and encourage other people to do the same should be the issue of greatest importance to you.

Romans 12:1
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

Working for God or winning souls is not an easy task. Sometimes people will ridicule you, insult you, inconvenience you etc. But you do have to be discouraged, endure everything as a good soldier of the army of God.

Be indifferent to everything, see yourself as sacrificing for the benefit of the kingdom of God.
God be with you.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Be determined to work for God no matter the obstacles or challenges you may face.

Prayer
Dear Lord, help me to remain faithful to you no matter the opposition. Amen.
