Keep pressing on!!
Psalm 27:13-14
I would have fainted unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land. Be strong take courage and wait for the Lord (paraphrased)

“Keep pressing on” means stay faithful and persevere in the midst of fatigue, hurt or anything that could make you discouraged.

In the passage above the Psalmist says he would have given up if he did not believe in the goodness and faithfulness of God.

All Christians should do the same. In our line of duty as ambassadors of Christ we are likely to face rejection from the people we try to share the gospel with or lack of cooperation from our own Christian brethren but this should not discourage us.

Let’s trust in God and believe in His goodness and keep serving Him faithfully.

Scripture says in Galatians 6:9 that

Do not grow weary in well-doing for in due season you shall reap your harvest or receive your reward. ( paraphrased)

2 Corinthians 15:58
Be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labour is not in vain

This verse from the new testament encourages us to be faithful in our ministry as ambassadors of Christ in spite of obstacles and discourage ment because God will certainly reward us. ( our labor is not in vain)

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Stay faithful to God to the end.

Lord plant my feet on higher ground
