Jesus – Our Messiah!!
Psalm 118:25-26
Lord, save us, Lord grant us success. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord…..

A Messiah is the leader and savior of a particular group of people or country. Jesus was the expected Messiah of the Jewish people.

However, today, Jesus is not only the Savior of the physical Israel but of the spiritual Israel which includes all Gentiles ( people who are not Israelites) as well.

The passage above says the Lord will save or redeem us and grant us success.

Scripture also says in Zephaniah 3:17 that

The Lord is mighty to save.

Meaning, the Lord has the power or ability to save all people. No matter who you are and what you have done.

Matthew 21:9
The crowds that went ahead of Him and those that followed shouted, Hosanna to the Son of David…

This verse from the new testament is showing us how to receive Jesus, our Messiah. With songs of praise and thanksgiving.

Learn to spend time each day praising and worshipping the Lord, not only because of what He has done for you but for who He is as well.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Make praise and worship part of your agenda for each day.

Prayer
Let this song be your confession and prayer

There is a Redeemer
Jesus, God’s own Son
Precious Lamb of God
The Messiah
Who for sinners came

Thank you God my Father
For giving us your Son
And leaving your Spirit
Till your work on earth is done
