Increase my faith Lord
Judges 6:37-38
Behold, I will put a fleece of wool in the floor; and if the dew be on the fleece only, and it be dry upon all the earth beside; then I shall know that thou wilt save Israel by mine hand, as thou hast said. And it was so: for he rose up early on the morrow, and thrust the fleece together and wringed the dew out of the fleece, a bowl full of water.

In my opinion there are three ways we can increase our faith:
– Asking God for a sign like Gideon did,
– Testing our own faith like Jesus asked the disciples to do in Luke 17:5-6, James 2:26
-Hearing the word of God (Romans 10:17)

We can ask God to help us increase our faith by giving us a sign like Gideon did. You can come up with your own sign. For example, God if you wants me to be a faithful witness, He should confirm this by letting me meet someone who is eager to hear the word and get directions on how to receive the gift of salvation. If this happens , your faith will increase because you know God hears and answers your prayers.

Luke 17:5-6
And the apostles said to the Lord, increase our faith. And the Lord said, if ye have faith as small of as a mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamore tree, be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it shall obey you.

Secondly you have to test your own faith like Jesus asked His disciples to. James 2:26 says faith without works is dead. You could test and increase your faith with simple challenges. You could pray for someone with a headache to get healed. If he/she is healed, then you could move to bigger tasks which will keep increasing and building your faith.

Finally, like Romans 10:17 says you need to hear the word. Study and memorize passages in the bible that build your faith like Hebrews 11. Listen to the word (messages)from ministers of God. This will increase and build your faith as well.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Before you can ask God for a sign or test your own faith you need to hear the word.
2. Do your quiet time each morning with a good devotional guide.
3. Find time to study the bible on your own.

Dear God, I praise and bless your holy name because you are great and greatly to be praised. Help me build and increase my faith. Amen.
