If it had not been for the Lord !!!
Psalm 124:1
If it had not been the Lord who was on our side; now may Israel say;

The Israelites have been through a lot but they survived because God was on their side

– They were in slavery for several years in Egypt

– They went into exile in Babylon

– Fast forward to the Holocaust during Hitler’s time etc.

God has always revived and renewed their strength.

The land they occupy today is not fertile land but through divine wisdom they have been able to transform the land into fertile soil through irrigation methods etc.

The verse above says if it had not been for the Lord on their side keeping the convent He made with Abraham and the other Patriarchs where will they be?

Scripture says in Isaiah 43:19 that

Behold, I do a new thing ( God is always doing new things)…. I will make a highway in the wilderness and cause rivers to flow in the desert.

This simply means, God will make the impossible possible.

Surrender your life to God, by accepting the gift of salvation and living to please God. He will make a way where there is no way in your life.

2 Corinthians 5:21
For He hath made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him

This verse from the new testament explains what the death and resurrection of Christ did for us.

He took the punishment for our sins on our behalf so we can have a better life.
