Daily Word 🇬🇭

I will walk with Him!!!
Psalm 23:1-3
The Lord is my shepherd
I shall not want
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures
He leadeth me beside the still waters, He restoreth my soul.

When you say “I will walk with Him” it means you will follow the leading of the Holy Spirit that lives in you as a believer. It also means that you will live according to the Lord’s commands in the bible.

In the first three verses of Psalm 23, the Psalmist describes what it means to walk with the Lord.:

– You shall not want because He will provide everything you need
– He will create a conducive environment for you to rest if He sees you are tired
– He refreshes you when you are physically or spiritually thirsty

The bible also says in Isaiah 40:31 that

They that wait on the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings as eagles, they shall run and not grow weary, they walk and not faint.

Meaning, they that wait or walk with the Lord have supernatural strength, they walk or go through the challenges of life without fainting.

Hebrews 13 : 8
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever

This verse from the new testament says, Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. He never changes, therefore it is safe to walk with Him

His strength, power and ability to save remains the same always.
God be with you

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. It is safe to put your complete trust in the Lord.

Song for meditation

Let this hymn be your confession and prayer

In heavenly love abiding
No change my heart shall fear
And safe is such confinding
For nothing changes here
The storm may roar without me
My heart may low be laid
But God is round about me
And can I be dismayed?

Green pastures are before
Which yet I have not seen
Bright skies will soon be o’er me
Where the dark clouds have been
My hope I cannot measure
My path to life is free
My SAVIOUR holds my treasure
And I will walk with Him
Amen
