Psalm 37:7
Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for Him …..
” He will set you free” refers to spiritual liberation from sin.
The verse above says wait patiently for the Lord to move on your behalf
I John 1: 9 says
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness
God can set us free from the power of sin if we trust Him
John 8:36
So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed
This verse from the new testament reaffirms the fact that the Lord can truly set us free from the power of sin
Accept the gift of salvation ( Romans 10:9-10) and become free from the bondage of sin
