He holds the future!!
Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the thoughts that I think towards you saith the Lord. Thoughts of peace and not of evil. To give you a future and a hope ( paraphrased)

” He holds the future”
means God is sovereign ( all- powerful) and omniscient ( all- knowing)

That is the message in the verse above. God has good plans for each one of us that will give us a bright future

Scripture says in Psalm 23:6 that
Surely, goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever

Meaning, God will cause us to experience His kindness and compassion ( goodness and mercy) all the days of our life if we surrender our lives to Him ( dwell in the house of the Lord forever)

Romans 8:28
And we know that all things work together for the good of them that love God who are called according to His purpose ( paraphrased)

This verse from the new testament confirms that God has good plans for each of us. He will combine the good and bad events of our lives in such a way that will benefit us ( work for our good)

Accept the gift of salvation today ( Romans 10:9-10) and walk in God’s will for your life.
