He contends with those who contend with me!!
Psalm 34:4
I sought the Lord and He answered, He delivered me from all my fears

In the verse above, the Psalmist says, He sought the Lord. Meaning he called on the Lord through prayer and He answered by calming all his anxieties.

“He contends with those who contend against me” means, God deals with those who try to steal our joy and enthusiasm.

Scripture also says in Psalm 27:1 that

The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life of whom shall I be afraid?

If God is our guide and deliverer ( light and my salvation). After we accept the gift of Salvation. He becomes our “stronghold” or
defence against all attacks and challenges

John 14:1
Let not your heart be troubled. Believe in God, believe also in me.

This verse from the new testament says we need not fret nor worry ( let not your heart be troubled).

All we have to do is trust or put our confidence in God( Believe in God, believe also in me)

God cannot fail and will not fail. What may seem like failure today could only be a stepping stone to future glory and victory
God be with you

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Trust in God and do what is right

Confession and prayer

I will bless the Lord at all times
His praise shall be in my mouth
My soul shall make its boast in the Lord
Come magnify the Lord with me
Let’s exalt His Holy Name together

He contends with those who contend me
And He fights against those who fight against me
He takes the shield and the buckler
He rises to my help
And He says to my soul
Yes He says to my soul
I’m your deliverance

Je vais benir Mon Dieu toujours
Je vais louer Mon Dieu
Venez nous amplifions Notre Dieu
Et levez le nom de Dieu
Amen
