Great is thy faithfulness!!
Numbers 23:19
God is not man, that He should lie nor the Son of man that He should repent. Has He said and will He not do it

“Great is thy faithfulness” means God always keeps His word no matter what it may cost Him.

Like verse above says, God cannot lie, therefore if He gives a promise in His word , He is bound to fulfill it.

Humans cannot remain faithful always , because our

– Strength and abilities are limited

– Our resources are limited

– Our time is limited

Someone may promise to pay your hospital bills, and means to fulfill it. But what if he also suddenly gets sick, he may not be able to fulfill his promise to you

Or another person promises to drive you to an important assignment. If his superior suddenly calls an important meeting, he cannot make it

But God is

– Omnipotent – Has all power

– Omnipresent- Can be everywhere at the same time

– Omniscient – Is all knowing or knows about everything

Jeremiah 32:27 says

Behold, I am the Lord
The God of all flesh is anything too hard for me to do?

Meaning, there is nothing God has promised in His word He cannot do

1 Thessalonians 5:24

Faithful is He who called you and He also will do it

This verse from the new testament reaffirms the fact that God is always faithful and keeps His word. Keep trusting Him.

2 Corinthians 1:20 says

As many as are the promises of God, in Him they are yes and Amen

Accept the gift of salvation today ( Romans 10:9-10) and enjoy all the blessings God promises His children

God be with you.

How can I apply the word to my life?

1. Pray for grace and strength to obey God’s commands always.
