Grace and mercy
Psalm 116:5
Gracious is the Lord, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful

There is a song that says:
Your grace and mercy
Brought me through
I’m living this moment
Because of you
I want to thank you
And praise you too
Your grace and mercy
Brought me through

The attitude of every christian should be like that of the songwriter quoted above. We should always be grateful to God and thank Him for the gift of life.

We do not have to wait for a specular miracle in our life before we thank and praise God. Waking up each morning is a gift and miracle from God. Some sleep and do not wake up, others cannot even sleep.

You are alive today because of God’s grace ( unmerited favor) and mercy (kindness) that has kept you safe from all physical and spiritual attacks.

2 Corinthians 12:9
And He said to me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me

The verse above implies that all we really need in life is God’s grace. It is enough (sufficient) to see us through all the storms of life.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Acknowledge the fact that, God’s grace and mercy is sufficient for you.
2. Trust God for all your needs
