God of Miracles!!
Psalm 139:14
I will praise you for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Marvelous are thy works oh Lord and that my soul knoweth right well.

A miracle is an extraordinary and welcome event that is not explicable by natural or scientific laws. It is therefore said to be a divine or supernatural occurrence.

“God of miracles” therefore, implies that God does extraordinary or amazing things.

The verse above says even our creation and existence as humans is amazing. God is indeed a miracle working God.

A recent real life occurrence that shows that God is a miracle working God is the much lower mortality rate recorded by African countries who are generally poor during the pandemic. We did not have the resources to contain a full-blown pandemic and COVID could have wiped out the whole continent. Thank God for His mercies and miracle working power.

There are also several stories in the bible that prove that God is a miracle working God:
– Sarah having a baby at 90 years.
-The fall of the wall of Jericho through shouts of praise and not weapons.
– Paul and Silas as well as all other prisoners having their chains broken after a time of praise and worship
– The miraclous conversion of the Apostle Paul etc.

Scripture also says in Psalm 82:6 that

All other gods are the works of men, God is the one and only living God.

Revelations 1:8
I am the Alpha and the Omega. The beginning and the end…

This verse from the new testament proves that God is amazing. He was, He is and will forever be. He has no beginning and no ending.

Our finite minds as humans cannot even fully comprehend this truth. He is indeed a miracle working God.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Trust in God at all times, He has the answers to our problems.
