God cannot lie
Numbers 23:19
God is not man, that He should lie;neither the son of man that He should repent: hath He said, and shall He not do it? Or hath He spoken, and shall He not make it good.

Human beings lie because they do not have the power or ability to keep their promises always.

God cannot lie because He has all power, all knowledge and possesses the ability to be everywhere at the same time.

God is faithful and He always keeps His word. He loves us and He will never forsake us (Joshua 1:5 and Hebrews 13:5)

2 Corinthians 1:20
For all the promises of God in Him are yes, and in Him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.

The verse above confirms that God is faithful and He always keeps His word.

All His promises are yes
and in Him Amen. Implying that all the promises of God are available and can be claimed by all God’s children.

Read the bible and find out what promises God has in store for you. Pray and ask for the ones you need.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. See God as your Father and provider of all you need
2. Whenever you are in need, turn to God in prayer first, before taking any other step
