Glory, glory!!!
Isaiah 60:1
Arise, Shine for thy light is come and the glory of the Lord is risen upon you
“Glory , glory” means we give praise, honor and adoration to our God.
The verse above says God has given us portions of His praise, honor and adoration ( glory) to do His work here on earth, so we need to take the step of faith and preach the gospel as He desires ( Arise, shine for I have given you portions of my glory.)
Scripture also say in Matthew 28:18-19 that
All power in heaven and earth has been given unto me. Go therefore to all nations….
The Lord has been given all power after His death and resurrection and He has commanded us to preach the word to all nations
Matthew 5:16
Let your light so shine before men , that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven
This verse from the new testament says apart from our Lord giving us portions of His glory and commanding us to preach the gospel.
He is also urging us to do good works to reflect His glory here on earth
So that all nations will give Him praise, glory and honor ( glory)
Accept the gift of salvation today ( Romans 10:9-10) and reflect the glory of the Lord in you.
