Free us, Lord!!
Joel 2:32
And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered

The phrase ” Free us , Lord” is an appeal to God to deliver us from the challenges and obstacles we face.

The verse above , assures us that once we call on the name of the Lord

– Through prayer

– Through praise and worship

– Through fasting and confession of His word

We will be delivered or saved.

2 Chronicles 7:14 says

If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves, and pray and seek my face, …..I will hear them from heaven and will forgive their sins and heal their land.

John 8:36
If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed

This verse from the new testament confirms that once we call on the name of the Lord we will be saved

If the Son ( Jesus) who suffered on our behalf , sets you free through salvation ( Romans 10:9-10) you shall be free indeed.
