Faithfulness, the mark of a good disciple!!
Ecclesiastes 12:13
Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

The verse above says all that God requires from us is respect and obedience to His word. ( faithfulness)

Faithfulness can be defined as fidelity, loyalty or dedication to someone or something. A disciple technically refers to followers of Jesus during His time here on earth. Now it is used for all Christians.

A follower of Christ is required to be loyal because:
-Without faithfulness, we cannot be good ambassadors of Christ because we are surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses and we cannot mislead them ( Hebrews 12:1-2)
-Without faithfulness we become easy prey for the evil one to destroy ( 1 Peter 5:8)

Revelations 2:10
Fear none of those things whi h thought shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried;….. be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

This verse from the new testament asks christians to expect challenges and temptations. However, this should not discourage us or cause us to stop being faithful. We should remain loyal to the end in spite of our challenges and difficulties.

1. Remain faithful to the end.
