Everybody needs a “Judas”!!
Genesis 45:7
And God sent me before you to preserve you a posterity in the earth, and to save your lives by great deliverance
The name “Judas” is a figurative way of referring to someone who betrays you. But without Judas the salvation plan would not have been fulfilled
The verse above is an excerpt from the story of Joseph and his brothers who betrayed him. He did not hold it against them but thanked them because without the betrayal he would not have become a ruler in Egypt. A foreigner, prisoner and slave.
The verse above indicates that the betrayal allowed God’s plan of preserving lives especially that of His own people possible.
Scripture also says in Romans 8:28 that
All things work together for the good of them that love God who are called according to His purpose.
Meaning both the good and bad events in your life are necessary to enable you fulfill your mission here on earth.
Thank the “Judas” in your life like Joseph did because without them you cannot achieve your purpose.
John 16:33
These things I have spoken into you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world
This verse from the new testament confirms that we will have challenges and obstacles in our lives but we are well able to overcome them because Christ already paid the price
God be with you
How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Trust in God and do what is right

I’ve had many tears and sorrow
I’ve had questions for tomorrow
There were times I didn’t know right from wrong
But in every situation
God gave me blessed consolation
That my trials come only to make strong
So I thank God for the mountains
I thank Him for the valleys
And I thank Him for the storms He’s brought me through
Oh if I never had a problem
I will never know God could solve them
And I would never know what faith in His word would do
So I say
Through it all

Sometimes through the fire
I’ ve learnt to trust in Jesus
I’ve learnt to trust in God
Through it all
Through it all
Sometimes through the rain
I’ve learnt to depend upon His word
