Blessed Assurance!!

Isaiah 43.1
…… I have called you by name, you are mine

The phrase “blessed assurance” summarizes the major benefits to be derived when we surrender our lives to Christ, the:
-Beauty of the grace imparted to man.

-Hope found in salvation

-Expectation of a future wholly encompassed within the all- consuming love of Christ

In the verse above, the Prophet Isaiah throws more light on how God sees His children or Christians.

He sees us as His prized possession. He calls us by our names because we are His and He knows each of by name.

Scripture also says in Revelations 2:10 that

…. be thou faithful unto death and I will give thee a crown of life.

Meaning, if we remain faithful to God in spite of our sometimes unfavorable circumstances and obey His commands and live to please Him, He will give us eternal life. We will live with Him blissfully in heaven.

Hebrews 13:8
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever

This verse from the new testament assures us that God is faithful because He remains faithful yesterday, today and forever more.

Therefore if He promises us:

– That we are His prized possession,

– That He remains the same always

-And would bless us with eternal life.

All the things listed above will be fulfilled. We have blessed assurance or an unfailing promise from God that all these things will be given to us.

2 Corinthians 1:20 says

As many as are the promises of God in Him they are yes and Amen
God be with you

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Pray for grace and strength to remain faithful to God always.
