Arise and build!!
Nehemiah 2:20
Then answered I them, and said unto them,

The God of heaven, He will prosper us, therefore we His servants will arise and build:
but ye have no portion, nor right, nor memorial in Jerusalem

“Arise and build” means let’s get to work now. We may have several challenges but we must work or preach Christ and the salvation message

The verse above is an excerpt from a story in the Bible. The people of Israel had been defeated in battle and the Prophet Nehemiah and the people of Israel were in exile in Babylon.

Nehemiah served in the King’s palace. Then he had this great desire to rebuild the city of Jerusalem which was in ruins. He told the King and God him favor before the king. The king not only gave them permission to build but he also gave them all they needed to build

Nehemiah and his men started to build. Then comes Sanballat and Tobiah to discourage them

Sanballat and Tobiah are biblical representations of the persecution, ridicule and challenges christians face when they try to win souls to build the kingdom of God

Like Nehemiah told his men, let us not get discouraged in our line of duty as ambassadors of Christ no matter our circumstances let us get to work (Arise and Build)

Matthew 28:20 says

……lo I am with you always even unto the end of this age

Meaning , God is always with us, He will provide all we need, courage , wisdom and every other thing we need

1 Corinthians 12:4

There are diversities of gifts but the same Spirit

This verse from the new testament reminds us that God has given each of us gifts to build His Kingdom

Arise and let’s us build!!!!
