Thy word!!!
Psalm 119:105
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path

” Thy word” refers to the revealed truth, commandments and instructions of God.

In the verse above, the word is described as a lamp or guide and a light that brightens our path and leads us safely through life.

Several times in our line of duty as students, workers and ambassadors of Christ we need direction from God.

God gives us direction mainly through the word. He could also use visions or prophets to give us direction

– In school, when it is time to choose areas of specialization, we need direction. Praying for wisdom from God ( James 1:5) will help direct us choose the most appropriate course of study

– At work, we often need direction on how to present assignments to meet our superior’s expectation. We need to pray that God grants us favor with man like the Prophet Nehemiah found favour with the king ( Nehemiah 2:5-8)

– As ambassadors of Christ we need direction on what to say , when presenting the message of salvation. We need to pray for” utterance” like the Apostle Paul
did in Ephesians 6:19

Trust the word of God to lead and guide you through life as a lamp unto your feet and light unto your path

God be with you
