1 Thessalonians 5:18
In everything give thanks for that is will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you

“Thank you my Lord” is a profound form of worship acknowledging God’s sovereignty, goodness and love. It also recognizes God as the source of all blessings.

The verse above clearly states that God desires that we thank Him for everything in our lives. In good times we thank Him for the many blessings and in bad times we thank Him for the victory, He will give us

Several times in our line of duty as students, workers and ambassadors of Christ we encounter good as well as bad times

– You get very good grades in school but your parents have no money to finance the rest of your education

– At work you do your best to finish all orders with your faulty machines. But the profit you get is not enough to buy new machines

– As an ambassador of Christ, you a have a good agenda for sharing the salvation message each day. But most of the people you talk to reject the message

Romans 8:28 says
All things work together for the good of them that love God who are called according to His purpose ( paraphrased)

Like the verse immediately above says as you continue to thank God, He finds a way to combine the good and bad events in such a way that will benefit you

God be with you
