1 Thessalonians 5:18
In everything give thanks
For this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you

” Thank you Lord” is an expression of faith that acknowledges God as the source of all blessings, goodness and salvation

The verse above emphasizes the fact that God desires that we thank Him for the many blessings He bestows on us each day

Several times in our line of duty as students, workers and ambassadors of Christ we need to give thanks to God.

It is easy to give thanks to the Lord in good times. However it is difficult to thank God in bad times. Just thank God for the victory He will give you

– You had “As” in all the subjects you studied except English and mathematics the two most important subjects for grading. Thank God for the victory He will give you even with your low grades in English and mathematics.

– Your boss is unavailable and you were asked to take charge of production. About three- quarters of orders were completed and suddenly power goes off. The generator works slowly and you were unable to complete work by close of business. Thank God for the three- quarters completed perfectly an thank God also for the quarter you were unable to complete. It will give you credit for working under pressure

– It rains and you were unable to complete your assignment on presenting the salvation message. Thank God for those you were able to reach. Thank Him also for the new opportunities He will give you

Luke 17:17 says
“Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine”

This means that Jesus was expecting all 10 to come back and thank Him

It is important to thank the Lord always especially in the morning when you wake up and at night before you sleep
