You hem me in behind and before, and you lay your hand upon me

“Surround me” signifies God’s total protection , love and sustaining presence. Just like the verse above says

Several times in our line of duty as students, workers and ambassadors of Christ we find ourselves in situations where we need the Lord’s protection and vindication

– Someone frames you up for a crime you did not commit in school. Someone lost her phone and you are accused of stealing it. You need God to protect and vindicate you

– At work an assignment is left unfinished and you are accused of not finishing it. You need God to protect and vindicate you

– As an ambassador of Christ you are accused of not practicing what you preach. You need God to protect and vindicate you

Psalm 23:4 says
Ye though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil for thou art with me thy rod and thy staff they comfort me

No matter your problem, God can still protect and vindicate you

God be with you
