Sanctify yourselves!!!
Joshua 3:5
And Joshua said to the people,
“Santify yourselves for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you”.

“Sanctify yourselves” means to purify and set oneself apart for God’s use . That is the message in the verse above

Like the verse above says, we need to sanctify ourselves before God can use us or do wonders among us.

Sanctifying yourself involves confessing known sins to God and asking for forgiveness.

There are two major types of sins

– The sin of ommission that is refusing to do what is right ( James 4:17)

– The sin of commission , which is doing what you know is wrong ( Galatians 6:19-21)

As students , workers and ambassadors of Christ we need to remember always that to err is human

Therefore, as you reflect over our activities for the day, constantly ask for forgiveness not only for known sins but also those you are unaware of.

1John 1:9 says

If we confess our sins ,He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. ( Paraphrased)
