REFLECTIONS 🙄

Live pure.
1 Corinthians 3:16-17
Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man destroy the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are
There is a hymn that says:
Take my life
And let it be
Consecrated Lord to thee
Take my moments
And my days
Let them flow in ceaseless praise.
The songwriter in the hymn above is dedicating his life to God. He wants to live pure (consecrated) and spend all his time praising God. This should be the desire of every christian
Like the verse above says, you are the temple of God. Meaning God dwells in you. Therefore,
Like 1 Peter 1:16 says
Because it is written, Be ye holy; as I am holy.
Reflect on your actions each day. Which areas of your life need improvement? How can you live pure?
As a student strive to be honest always. Do not cheat in examinations and do not defile your body with sins like fornication etc
As a worker seek to uphold biblical principles in all you do. Do not engage in actions such as forging signatures to steal funds or failing to account for company funds received
As an ambassador of Christ, do not use witnessing as an excuse to engage in illicit affairs.
There are many other areas you can determine to live pure. These are only a few examples.
Seek to please God in all of you do
God be with you.
Suggestions for success
1. As you prepare for the coming week. Spend time praying for God to help you live pure.
Prayer
Think about the words of this song
As the Lord has called us out of this world
Let us stay outside
He is looking for a righteous people
Holy in His sight
Looking for a people
Who have chosen that pleases Him
And will freely stay away
From this world’s attitude and sin
He said sanctify yourself
For tomorrow
I will do wonderous things among you
Amen
