Faith
Hebrews 11:1
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

The Good News Translation of the verse above says:
To have faith, is to be sure of the things we hope for, to be certain of the things we cannot see.

Faith can be said to be the spiritual force that calls the things that be not into being. A perfect example of how faith works can be found in the book of Genesis chapter 1 and 2.

God creates the whole universe from nothing. He calls things into being.

Faith is a very important element in the life of every christian because
Hebrews 12:6 says without faith it is impossible to please God

I believe our lives will be simpler as students, workers and men and women of God if we exercise our faith in all we do.

As a student you may not understand everything you are taught but you can believe that by faith God will help you understand when you read over your notes and textbooks and help you pass your examinations.
The Holy Spirit will teach you (John 14:26)

As a worker you might not have all the skills you need to complete your schedule each day. By faith declare you can do all you are required to through the divine wisdom God gives you (Philippians 4:13)

In your ministry as a man or woman of God claim by faith the ability to meet the spiritual and physical needs of your congregation or flock through the word or teaching you give them(Luke 21:15)
God be with you

Suggestions for success
1. Reflect over your activities in the past week. What things could you have done better by exercising your faith?
2. Take note of these things and exercise your faith as you do these things in the coming week.

Prayer
Meditate on the words of this hymn

Be gone unbelief
My Saviour is near
And for my relief will
surely appear
By prayer (faith) let me wrestle
And I will prevail
With Christ in the vessel
I smile at the storm
Amen.
