REFLECTIONS 🙄: Do not isolate yourself

Do not isolate yourself
Hebrews 10:24
And let us consider one another to provoke one another to love and good works:

To isolate yourself from christian fellowship or activities is to absent yourself from church or christian gatherings because:
-Someone offended you
-You think church programs take too much time and it reduces the time you need to rest or take care of other important issues
-You do not have money for transport
– You have no friends
-You do not enjoy worshipping God.

All these excuses are not good enough. No man is an island and we need one another to survive.

Galatians 6:2 says we should bear one another’s burden. Therefore just as the verse from Hebrews 10 says we should not just forget about our friends we do not see in church

Check on anybody who misses church for two weeks or more. Find a nice way of probing and giving solutions for problems resulting in absence from church.

This responsibility of checking on absentees from Church should not be left to pastors and leaders alone but to all adults and youth in the church.

Keep in mind that when you isolate yourself, you become an easy target for the devil and you can easily lose your faith.
God be with you

Suggestions for success
1. Think carefully and pick out people who have been absent from church for a long time. Call them and find out how you can help

Prayer
Meditate on the words of this song

Sometimes its hard
For me to understand
Why we pull away from each other so easily
When we are all walking the same road
Yet we build dividing walls
Between our brothers and ourselves
But I do not care
What label you may wear
If you belong to Jesus
You belong with me
Let’s join and sing

You are my brother
You are my sister
So take me by the hand
Together we will work
Until He comes
There is no foe
That can defeat us
When we are walking side by side
As long as there is love
We will stand
Amen
